About Us

Meet Our Therapists – As Diverse As You.

We believe the therapeutic relationship is cornerstone to meeting your unique needs in healing and change. Therefore, we focus on showing up authentically, with empathy, openness, and acceptance. Our therapists come from different backgrounds, have different styles, and different qualities to bring to the therapy space. They are as unique as our clients and are here to support you in the ways that feel most aligned for you.

Anna Waters, LP-MFT

Therapist

Therapy should be a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to explore all parts of yourself, without judgment. I will help you ground into peace and intention amid busyness and overwhelm. Together, we will co-create a safe haven within the therapy room, offering rest and refuge.

I’m passionate about working with young adults, neurodivergent folks, and those exploring identity development. I support individuals, couples, and families navigating experiences around adoption, life transitions, managing stress, and navigating relationships. My approach is relaxed, relational, and trauma-informed. I honor how family, culture, identity, and lived experiences shape the way we move through the world.

Whether you’re managing stress, navigating relationship issues, untangling past trauma, or shifting patterns that no longer serve you, I’ll support you to slow down, regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your needs, and build more intentional, meaningful relationships—with others and with yourself. I’ll help you cultivate a deeper connection to your mind and body, using mindfulness and nervous system regulation, building a sense of inner safety. This leads to healing, clarity, and more empowered relationships. I infuse a deep sense of hope and empowerment into therapy by helping you shift towards a more compassionate inner dialogue.

Life gets messy, and I’m here to help you ground and recenter in what’s most important to you. I see therapy as a collaborative process, and I will hold the space to support meaningful growth in your life.

“I offer a grounding space to feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.”

Therapist

My passion is providing warm, affirming care to trans and nonbinary people and their loved ones. I also support LGBTQ+ individuals, couples (including those in ethical non-monogamous relationships), and families—honoring the unique identities and experiences each person brings to therapy.

I support clients with identity exploration, life transitions, parenting, and relationships. I help partners improve communication, navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and explore ENM dynamics with care and curiosity. I affirm your identities and experiences, and I am here to walk alongside you with empathy, authenticity, and unwavering support.

For trans and nonbinary clients especially, I know how crucial it is to have a space that feels safe and validating. In a world that often denies and devalues trans lives, therapy can be a place to be seen, affirmed, and supported—whether you’re navigating transition, facing systemic discrimination, or simply seeking someone who respects who you are.

I also have experience supporting clients in navigating suicidal thoughts and self-harming behaviors. I approach this work with care and collaboration, prioritizing both your safety and your voice.

I view therapy as a collaborative and empowering process. Whether you’re working through individual challenges or navigating complex relational dynamics, I will meet you where you are and support growth at a pace that feels right for you.

“A validating space for trans, nonbinary, and LGBTQ+ clients to heal, grow & connect.”

Relationships can be a great source of happiness, but they can also be really difficult. I’m passionate about working with couples and partners to cultivate relationships that feel authentic, supportive, and fulfilling. I work with couples from all walks of life, including queer couples, partners practicing ethical non-monogamy (ENM), and couples from differing familial and cultural backgrounds. I’m also LGBTQIA+, trans, non-binary, and kink-affirming.

Therapy with me is non-judgmental, flexible, and paced for your needs. Through warmth, humor, and authenticity, I strive to create a space where you feel safe to express your true self while honoring your unique values, preferences, and culture.

We’ll work together to help you get clear on what’s important to you and what’s making it hard for you to have the relationships you want. You’ll learn tools for connecting physically and emotionally, communicating clearly, engaging in healthy conflict, and repairing after conflict gets messy. You’ll find more ease and connection in your relationships which will extend to your overall enjoyment of life.

“I help partners build authentic, supportive relationships rooted in clarity, connection & care.”

I’m here to support you in creating the kind of relationships that feel grounded, connected, and true to who you are. Whether you’re exploring boundaries, navigating conflict, healing from relationship wounds, or deepening connection to yourself or your relationships, I will walk with you through a process of creating positive change in your life.

In our work together, we’ll center your values, lived experiences, and perspective. I support you in a change and healing process to show up more authentically and to deepen connection in your relationships. This can look like healing after harm, creating authentic and sustainable change, or figuring out what balanced connection looks like for you.

I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, queer folks, ethical non-monogamy (ENM), and people working on setting clear and authentic boundaries or recovering from emotionally harmful relationships. I also provide steady and compassionate care when focusing on parenting, identity exploration, and relationship repair.

Therapy is an investment in yourself and your relationships. My approach is person-centered and holistic. I’m affirming and culturally responsive. Our sessions will be very warm, open, and non-judgmental. I honor the vulnerable pieces of your experience. This is your space to be heard, seen, and valued.

You are the expert on your life, and I invite our therapy to be a collaborative process to ensure it meets your unique needs. I look forward to helping you cultivate thoughtful relationships with yourself and your loved ones.

“I’m passionate about helping people navigate conflict & cultivate healthy relationships.”

It’s Truly Changed My Life

Starting therapy felt intimidating at first, but I immediately felt safe and supported here. I’ve been able to explore patterns I didn’t even realize were holding me back, and slowly, things have started to shift. My relationships feel more honest, and I feel more grounded in myself. I’m so grateful for the care, patience, and insight I’ve experienced in this space—it’s truly changed my life.

Therapy Helped Us Reconnect

Working with Cultivate Connection has been a turning point in our relationship. From the start, we both felt seen and supported— as individuals and as partners. Our therapist created a space where we could communicate honestly, without judgment or blame.

We’ve learned how to really listen to each other, set healthy boundaries, and reconnect in ways that feel lasting. Therapy here didn’t just help us ‘fix problems’—it helped us grow our relationship together.
